Byron spent 25 years in the food brokerage business as a former Senior Vice President of Advantage Sales & Marketing. One of the largest food brokers in the county. Byron has 15+ years of real estate experience and more than 36 years of sales experience. He was #7 on the local board of sales in 2015, and top 2% of all Keller Williams agents nationwide. He has been awarded as one of the top 100 realtors in the area from 2013 to 2017. He is a former restaurant owner and is a resident of the Beaverdam community in Asheville. Additionally, he is a member of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of the Asheville Board of Realtors, and past president of the Asheville Downtown Association. He was very active on the Bele Chere board of directors as chairman. A real community leader, Byron served on the board of directors of Lutheridge and Lutherock Camping Ministries for many years. Steve known as "The Land Man", is from a large, loving, working-class family and grew up in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Region of Central New York. He is retired US Army (DAV) who has served in both the US Military Police and Adjutant Generals Corps. He was awarded the army's Meritorious Service Medal for his exemplary military service, the 2nd highest military award given during "Peace Time" (Cold War/Desert Shield/Desert Storm). An amateur photographer, outdoorsman and conservationist, Steve prefers to shoot animals with a camera instead of his guns. He's often outdoor excercising his for Weimeraner rescues. Steve is also active with Tarheel Weimeraner Rescue as a foster parent and rescue relay driver. As a Realtor, Steve has been awarded numerous awards, beginning with the Southern Maryland's "Rookie of the Year" in 2003. Besides a LOVE for land, he has a passion for history and historic preservation. Steve brings his military discipline and 15+ years of real estate knowledge and land expertise to our team. A native of Southeastern Pennsylvania, John went to UCLA in Los Angeles, before settling in Florida and a career in hospitality management. with Marriott and Ritz-Carlton. After living in the Asheville area for more than 14 years, Barclay is thrilled to be joining the Dwell Team of Asheville. The passion for real estate began in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he invested first in residential properties and eventually led into investing in commercial properties as well. At one point in time, Barclay was a controlling partner in ten diverse properties which included single family residences, multi-unit residences and multi-unit commercial holdings. Simultaneously while investing in properties, Barclay was part owner of a digital imaging company which employed 14 people and enjoyed annual sales topping 1.5 million dollars. At one point, PubSet was widely known as the second largest digital film separators in the tri-county area of South Florida. Barclay’s top priority in real estate is his clients’ wishes and the desire to make their wishes a reality. Having had the many opportunities to be on the buyer’s side of real estate and the seller’s side for more than 20 years, he knows how a client should be treated - they are number one! Additionally, Barclay certainly understands that “time is of the essence”.
